A guitarist and songwriter for more than 17 years, Ethan has performed thousands of gigs on his own and with a number of musical outfits including the Shoots, Flytrap Tribe, Our Smiling Jesus Band and Carbon Based Souls.

He spent the last three years writing more than twenty songs that would fit his vision for a band. However, since his writing style begins with simply his voice and acoustic guitar, much of the material translates nicely to 'unplugged' arrangements. Along with the numbers he wrote to perform with a backing band, Ethan has no shortage of folk-rock tunes meant for solo performance. His songs speak to the dynamism of emotions, illustrate quirky character portraits and optimistically confront the ups and downs of life in a challenging, spinning world.

Ethan has shared the stage with Guided By Voices, Material Issue and De La Soul.
