Zombies
Watched "I am legend" last night and loved it. Nothing like a good zombie flick to cap off a sunny, spring weekend in New York City -- especially a zombie flick that features images of a deserted, desolate alternate-reality New York City.

You're brave! It looked good...but too scary for me! I left my husband watching it by himself and had to google the ending (including the alternative ending which you can view on the web) in the other room.
We also had a discussion right at the very beginning whether I am Legend or The Omega Man came first...and I did a quick wikipedia search on my iPod touch. Watching dvd's at home just isn't the same any more! Talk about augmenting technology.
By the way, if you like zombie stories, you should like this fine little piece of writing
Glad I could make up for my Inland Empire recommendation. Now give The Mist a spin....
