Infinite work, infinite entertainment

A friend of mine at IBM was just telling me how much she loves her ipod
touch. She watches movies while she does chores. She's also a blackberry
addict (full disclosure, so am I. In fact I'm writing this on my bb). It
occurs to me that both devices are embodiments of our corporate world
system in that the one promises infinite productivity and the other
infinite consumption. Someone should duct tape the two together.
